New partnerships for the expansion of Blink EV charging network by Globalsat-Teleunicom Group
Agreement with Carrefour for the installation of Blink charging stations in its network of stores nationwide.
Globalsat-Teleunicom Group, as the official dealer of Blink Charging Hellas, entered the agreement with Carrefour for the progressive installation of EV charging stations in its stores nationwide.
The agreement with Carrefour, which follows the corresponding agreements with Praktiker, Intersport, Apollonion Bakery and Alter Life Gym Center, foresees the immediate installation of EV chargers in existing stores and the provision of charging stations in the network of the stores that are under construction.
The development of Blink’s charging points, which exceed the number of 400 nationwide making its network the largest in Greece, aims to double expand charging stations by the end of 2023 and operates in four main directions: installation of charging stations in store networks, such as Praktiker’s, Intersport’s and Carrefour’s, installation of charging stations in hotels and places of catering and leisure, such as St. George Lycabettus Lifestyle Hotel Athens, installation of charging stations in the national road networks and finally installation of charging stations in the facilities of large companies, in order for their staff to easily charge its vehicle, especially given the shift of companies to the provision of electric and hybrid cars to their executive staff.
Blink has the most modern fast chargers and through Blink Mobile application, it enables drivers to locate and integrate the selected charging points on the map of their route, so as to be updated in real time on the availability of the charging station, as well as to pay the cost of charging. Payment method is the same for all Blink charging stations, providing drivers with maximum convenience in their commute or journey.
